Community Guidelines

The Beer App is a place to share beers you enjoy, responsibly. To keep it welcoming for everyone, these rules apply to every post, comment, photo, group, and message.

Be of legal drinking age

You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction to use this app. Do not encourage underage drinking or dangerous, excessive consumption.

Post only what you have the right to share

Share your own photos and words. Do not post content that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, or privacy.

No objectionable content

Zero tolerance for content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, or that targets people based on who they are. No spam, scams, or impersonation.

Respect others

No bullying or harassment. Treat other members the way you'd want to be treated.

Never share intimate images without consent

Never post a nude or sexual image of anyone without their consent — including one that is faked or generated. We close the account that does.

If someone has posted an intimate image of you (or of someone you are allowed to act for), report it in the app under Intimate image without consent, which hides it straight away, or email support@thebeerapp.app with:

• where it is: a link, or the username that posted it and what the image shows;
• a short statement that it was shared without consent;
• your name and how to reach you; and
• your signature (typing your full name is enough).

We take it down, along with any copies we can find, within 48 hours of a request at the most, and within 24 hours where the law where you live requires it. You do not need an account to ask. If the person in the image is under 18, report it as Child safety.

Reporting & enforcement

Report any post, comment, profile, group or message that breaks these rules using the report option in the app, and block users you don't want to interact with. You can also report illegal content by email, with or without an account; the Terms (section 7) say what to include. We review reports and act on violations — usually within 24 hours — including removing content and suspending or banning accounts.

If we remove something of yours or suspend your account, we email you why, and a person made that call. Think we got it wrong? Reply to that email within six months and a person will look at it again.

Drink responsibly

This app is for fun and does not promote excessive or irresponsible drinking. Always follow the laws of your jurisdiction.
